Before you use the services of JPay, you have to register first with JPay. To register, you have to enter state and also inmate ID in the register box that is provided by JPay in the website.
We have mentioned above that we can send email to the inmates. When you send an email, you can attach a picture or a video. If you want to attach a picture, you have to note that the picture does not contain nudity and the other things that are inappropriate. The size of the picture that you can send is no more than 1 MB (1024 kb) and the formats that are permitted for the pictures are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif and .bmp. To attach a picture, you have to follow the instructions below.
- First, you have to select “Attach Image” on the Compose page.
- Then, on the “Add Picture”, select “Browse” button to browse your system for a picture. If you have found the picture that you want to send, you have to double select it to choose it for insertion.
- After that, on the Add Picture page, choose “Attach” to attach the picture to the email.
- Repeat steps 2 to 3 to attach more pictures to your email. If you have done attaching pictures, then select “Continue”. The pictures will be listed as an attachment to the email.
Beside you can send picture via email by attaching it, now you can also send your picture such as your selfies to the inmate by using Snap N’ Send that is recently introduced by JPay. This feature can be found by you only in JPay mobile app. To use this feature, the first thing that you have to do is to download and open JPay app. After that, you have to choose your loved one in a participating facility. Then, take or choose a picture to be sent to the inmate. At last, select Send and your picture will be delivered. But, you have to be aware that photos might be screened before being released.
