Vermont Department of Corrections is one of the corrections that have a contract with JPay. There are some JPay services available in Vermont Department of Corrections. The first one is Email. Getting a letter from your loved one is probably one of the best feelings in the world. This service is the fastest way for staying in touch with the inmate. Usually, inmates will receive the emails within 48 hours. In some locations, you can attach photos to the email. You can even record the short time video called VideoGram to send along with your letter. Inmates might be able to respond electronically, view and print your message, and view photo attachments if there is the facility named outbound email. If you want to send the email, you have to know that each email requires a stamp. Email postage fees are $2.00 for 5 stamps, $4.00 for 10 stamps, and $8.00 for 20 stamps. Apparently, each typed page of text cost one stamp. As addition, every attachment costs one stamp. The second one is Outbound Email. As stated before, it is the service that can make the inmate to be available to replay your message. The rates of this service is same as the rates of email. The third one is Outbound VideoGrams. If with Outbound Email the inmate can replay your message, with this Outbound VideoGrams, the inmate can record the short video as the replay of your VideoGram. The number of stamps per VideoGram costs $3. The fourth service that available in JPay Vermont Department of Corrections is Inbound VideoGrams. This service shares the same rates with the rates of Outbound VideoGrams. The last available service is Video Visitation. Visiting your loved one in the jail can be difficult. There are some factors that can make it difficult including the distance of your and your loved one and the security procedures that can be invasive. When physical visits seems hard to work, this JPay Video Visitation will make it possible for you to talk face to face with your incarcerated friend or family member. You can do this in your home or anywhere. Then, how does it work? The first thing you have to do is to schedule the visitation and it has to be approved by the facility of your loved one. This excellent service costs $9.95 per 30 minute video.

JPay Vermont Department of Corrections has seven facilities in total.
